With over 30 years experience in the corporate world as a senior HR executive, David understands business and the stresses of juggling parenting, relationships, finances and your career. He has expertise in helping people to navigate through depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions and to find a healthier balance with habits and addictions, such as drinking, working, sleeping, eating, sex and media use.

David has recently had his practice independently analysed by Novopsych who found that he achieves high treatment effectiveness compared to the average psychologist, the majority of his clients experience a significant reduction in their distress and very few drop out of therapy. He does this by working collaboratively with his clients to help them achieve their treatment goals.

PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY

I provide evidenced-based therapy to address a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, relationships and life transitions. Interventions include CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis. Consultation session duration is up to 50 minutes.

PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

As a Clinical Psychologist I provide specialised, evidence-based cognitive and functional assessments for Plan Managed and Self Managed NDIS adult participants in the Southern Highlands. NDIS plans require explicit, objective proof of how a disability impacts everyday life. My comprehensive assessment packages are specifically structured to meet strict NDIA reporting guidelines, ensuring your support needs are accurately quantified and defensible at your next plan review.

Ageing Positively

I have a special interest and training in older adult psychology however I welcome adults with any difficulties ages 20+
